White Wolf Cafe History

In August of 1991 the White Wolf cafe was started as a dream. At the time we could not have imagined the White Wolf Cafe would turn out as it has. The events that unfolded were spectacular. It's amazing to be a part of the growth and the development of the White Wolf Cafe, a truly remarkable restaurant.

The City of Orlando was a perfect fit for us. In this town there are many chain and theme restaurants. The community welcomed us as it welcomes the first cool breezes of fresh air after a long hot summer.

The first few days, weeks, and months of the White Wolf Cafe were magical for me. My white German shepherd Casper, after whom the cafe is named would greet people at the door. I could see people change as they interacted with him ... he won their hearts over with his gentle spirit. People knew instantly that the White Wolf Cafe was a unique and enchanting place.

The community has adopted us as one of it's own special places outside of the tourist attractions. A one of a kind "home grown" place. The community, the media, and the City fathers have made it all possible. Everyone that could help us did, they wanted to see us succeed. This "grass roots" development was the key reason the White Wolf Cafe has come so far. People felt they were a part of us, they watched us evolve. The White Wolf didn't appear overnight like a chain store, it grew slowly with the help of the locals. It's safe to say we've earned a place in Orlando's heart.

We have grown into the Cafe that we are, through the steady patronage of our customers and the hard work of our wonderful staff. So many of our employees have added their personal touch to our business, through creative menu items, decorating ideas, or their personalities. Our staff is a major part of our success, we wouldn't be where without them.

The White Wolf Cafe is located in the "Bohemian" district, on the fringe of the city of Orlando. There are over thirty unique and interesting boutiques where you will find treasures and novelties to decorate your home. This collection of colorful shops is a wonderful excursion for any one who is visiting the Orlando area. You will have a chance to explore the real Orlando ... a fun and exciting locale. You can experience the colorful artist community that resides in the warehouse and around this eclectic collection of stores.

I am truly grateful to be a part of the development of the White Wolf Cafe. This endeavor began with the desire to reach the "American Dream". I wanted to own my own business and be my own boss, lo' and behold we have made it. The White Wolf Cafe has been tremendously successful and we're now in our Eighth year and growing strong. We can't wait to meet you in Orlando.
